Call for applicants: Musethica Session at HfMT Hamburg

Application call for string instrumentalists now open to participate in the Musethica Session at the Hamburg University of Music and Drama from February 7th to 14th, 2026

HfMT students now have the chance to apply for the Musethica music education programme and be part of the session in Hamburg scheduled for February 7th to 14th, 2026.

This session marks the premiere of the collaboration between HfMT and Musethica, providing selected musicians with the opportunity to take part in an intensive one-week course combining artistic excellence with social engagement. The focus is on deepening interpretive skills through numerous performances, inspiration, musical listening, and the development of comprehensive artistic competence.

The session begins with two rehearsal days, including artistic coaching, and continues with daily concerts at local social institutions within the community. During the session, participating musicians perform both chamber music works, including pieces together with the Musethica tutors, as well as solo pieces.
