Spring Session at KMH Stockholm

Between May 2nd to 9th, 2026, a Musethica Session took place in Stockholm Musethica (Sweden) implemented in close collaboration with the Royal College of Music of Stockholm (KMH). A total of ten concerts were performed during the week, taking place at special education schools, a correctional facility, a residential care home, as well as two public concerts in the cultural center Kulturhuset in Ytterjärna, and the inclusive social center Mötesplats Mariatorget.

The audiences listened to an energetic programme for brass quintet, featuring works by composers Malcolm Arnold, Victor Ewald, and Catherine Likhuta, amongst others.

Trumpeter Tom Poulson was the tutor of the week and he performed together with the young musicians - all students at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. The participating young musicians were Ingibjörg Ragnheiður Linnet (trumpet), Hilda Melin (french horn), John Lundén-Welden (trombone), and Disa Cedersmyg (tuba).
