13th Chamber Music Festival Zaragoza
The 13th International Chamber Music Festival of Musethica took place in Zaragoza, Spain, from March 14th to 21st, 2026. The festival brought together renowned soloists Avri Levitan (viola) and Helena Satué (violin), alongside six outstanding young musicians selected by Musethica’s international artistic committee: Amira Abouzahra (violin), Yerassyl Khamit (violin), Laura Handler (violin), Ruby Shirres (viola), Hannah Rubin (violoncello), and Ali Emir Bostanci (violoncello). Special guest appearances were made by promising local talents from Zaragoza, Hugo Beltrán (violin) and Pablo Beltrán (viola), 16 and 14 years old.
A total of 19 concerts were presented, including three public performances at El Túnel, Centro de Arte para Jóvenes (a first collaboration that was met with strong audience response), a sold-out concert at the Aula Magna del Paraninfo de la Universidad de Zaragoza, and a closing concert at the Sala Luis Galve del Auditorio de Zaragoza, which achieved near full capacity and great public success.
Social institutions included: CEE Jean Piaget; CEE María Soriano; Centro Penitenciario de Zuera; AFEDAZ (Alzheimer’s Family Association); Centro Sociolaboral La Almozara; FADEMA (Aragonese Multiple Sclerosis Foundation); Escuela de Jardinería El Pinar (Garrapinillos); Fundación CEDES; Hospital Royo Villanova (psychiatry ward); Centro de Inserción Sociolaboral para Mujeres Tramalena; IES Pablo Serrano; CEIP Tenerías; and Centro Sociolaboral Casco Viejo.
The repertoire featured works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Zoltán Kodály, Johannes Brahms, Max Bruch, and Felix Mendelssohn, spanning trio, quintet, and octet formations.
This edition stood out for its high artistic quality, international scope, strong social impact, and excellent audience reception, while successfully establishing new collaborations.
